Competition for a grant for TEAM University applicants from the GROSS INSURANCE
Grants from GROSS INSURANCE are an opportunity to take a confident step into the future. The Company selects two students who will receive a grant and the opportunity for professional development at the Company.
The applicants who received an unconditional offer from the TEAM University Admissions Office are eligible to apply for a grant provided by GROSS INSURANCE, which will cover 50% of the total tuition fee for the academic year 2020-2021.
The total number of contest grants is 2 (guy and girl)
Benefits of the Contest:
The grant will cover 50% of the total tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Winners get experience in the selection process and a weighty line on their resume.
After graduation, winners will have the opportunity to land a job with a major insurance company.

Grant Application Procedure:
Register for the contest from GROSS INSURANCE Insurance Company on the TEAM University website by filling out a participant form, including applicant's name, date of birth, and phone number;
Complete an individual assignment by writing an essay or preparing a presentation on a given topic;
The topic of the essay or presentation is "Describe, in your opinion, what insurance policies a successful young entrepreneur and his/her family should have and why?
The procedure for selecting the four best essays or presentations by a special Commission (GROSS and TEAM representatives);
Interview at the Company with the four semi-finalists, based on the results of which the Commission will determine the two winners;
Awarding ceremony for the winners.
General requirements for writing the essay:
The essay is an essay of about 300-400 words, where a person introduces himself/herself and answers the question: "What insurance policies should a successful young entrepreneur and his/her family have and why?
The essay should be the applicant's own vision and should not be plagiarized from any source;
When checking the Essay will be taken into account - the individuality of thoughts/ideas, making practical suggestions, uniqueness;
The essay must be written double-spaced in standard Calibri font, 12 pt;
The essay must be uploaded in PDF format during the online application process;
The essay must be included in the attachment of uploaded documents;
Applications without an attached assignment will be rejected.
General Requirements for Presentation Preparation:
It is recommended that the presentation include no more than 10-15 slides;
The applicant may use any program to create a presentation;
In the presentation, the applicant must fully disclose the theme: "What insurance policies should a successful young entrepreneur and his/her family have and why?
When checking the presentation will be taken into account - the individuality of thoughts/ideas, making suggestions, uniqueness;
The presentation must be included in the attachment of uploaded documents;
Applications without an attached assignment will be rejected.
Important: Applicants must choose ONE of the assignments (essay or presentation). Applicants cannot submit both types of assignments.
What will contestants who do not receive a Grant?
Participants who have completed all of the competitive assignments but have not received a Grant will receive certificates confirming their performance during the selection process. Certificates will be a great addition to a student's resume or portfolio for further selection for an internship at GROSS INSURANCE or another company.
